Design your gallery in a live editor
A new "Design gallery" button on each project opens a full-screen editor with a live preview of your client gallery. Pick a theme, choose where the title and logo sit on the cover, and add a cover welcome, all while watching the gallery update as you go, then Save. Fonts, colors, and cover framing are coming next.

Improved
Gallery zoom targets where you click
In the full-screen photo viewer, clicking (or scrolling) to zoom now zooms in on the exact spot you point at, like someone's eyes to check focus, instead of always the center of the photo.
-
Improved
Galleries load faster and sharper
Gallery photos are now delivered sized for each device and in modern image formats, so a gallery loads noticeably faster on a phone and looks crisper on a high-resolution screen. Nothing changes in how you set up a gallery.

Improved
One sign-in across a shared project
On a public or shared project, entering your name and email once, to leave a comment or to buy, now signs you in everywhere, so you are not asked again when you go to purchase. A sign-in prompt is on both the project page and the gallery, and the magic-link email returns you to wherever you asked for it. Pulling up your past purchases and receipts still asks you to click the emailed link first, so no one can see your photos by guessing your email.

Fixed
Public projects show in your projects list
A Public project (one with no single client) was missing from the Projects list and only findable by search. It now appears in the list like any other project, marked "Public" in the client column. On the public project page, the booking status chip no longer shows, since there is no client to track it for.
-
Fixed
Gallery buyers stay out of your client list
Someone who buys from a public or shared gallery is a buyer, not a client. They were already kept out of your Clients list, and now the Payments ledger treats them the same way: a buyer's name is tagged "Gallery buyer" and links to their purchase history under Money, Gallery orders, instead of a client page.
-
New
Public projects: a comment wall
Turn on comments for a Public project and anyone with the link can leave a note under their own name (great for an event you sell to many people, like a game with lots of parents). Comments are visible to everyone with the link, each person can remove their own, and you can remove any from the project page. A returning buyer can also click their email on the gallery to jump straight to their purchases and receipts.

Fixed
Pay button shows it is working
When paying an invoice or buying gallery photos, the Pay button now stays greyed out with a spinner and "Processing..." for the few seconds the payment takes, instead of looking idle. (A global form-protection helper was quietly re-enabling it right after the click.)
-
Fixed
Date fields default to your local day
When adding a project or an expense in the evening, the date could default to tomorrow because our servers run on UTC. New date fields now default to today in your own time zone.

New
Public projects: sell to many buyers
New project type for shoots with no single client, like a public event you sell to many people. Pick "Public gallery" when creating a project to run a shared storefront (each buyer checks out on their own) or share an event gallery for free. Buyers show up under Money, Gallery orders, and never clutter your Clients list.
-
Improved
Buying from a shared project link
Selling on the shared whole-project link now matches the gallery-only link: a "Bought photos here before?" email sign-in brings back your purchases to re-download or buy more, the Pay button clearly shows a spinner while your payment goes through, and the download page has a "Back to gallery" link so you can keep browsing after you buy.
-
Fixed
Steadier gallery layout at in-between widths
On in-between screen widths (around 1200 to 1300px), the gallery toolbar (Back to project, the download / add-to-cart button, and the photo-size slider) could break onto stacked rows and look cramped. The controls now keep their positions on one row, with the size slider tucked away on phones. The photo grid's last row also now matches the row above instead of shrinking.
-
Improved
One-click sharing
Sharing a project is now a "Share" button in the header and right above the gallery, instead of being tucked in a menu. Flip a simple on/off switch to turn the client link (or a gallery-only link) on, copy it, or email it.
-
Fixed
Publish button reads as disabled
On a project with nothing to publish yet, the Publish button now shows greyed-out with a clear note to upload photos first, instead of looking active but doing nothing.
-
Fixed
Selling galleries say what they need
When a gallery is set to sell (a la carte, or proofing with paid extras) but is missing a price or a connected payment processor, the project page now tells you exactly what to fix, instead of the gallery quietly showing as view-only with no cart.
-
New
Snooze dashboard reminders
The dashboard's "Needs attention" items can now be snoozed until tomorrow with one click, so they stay useful nudges instead of permanent clutter. Anything that gets worse (like another invoice going past due) resurfaces on its own.
-
Fixed
Sidebar notification dot
In the slim icon sidebar, the red notification dot now sits on the correct menu item instead of drifting up near the logo.
-
New
Gallery stats
Each project now shows its gallery at a glance: views, favorites, selects, and downloads, right in the project side panel. The numbers adapt to the gallery type, so you only ever see stats that apply.
-
Improved
Clearer late-fee status on bank payments
While a client's bank transfer (ACH) is clearing, the invoice now shows the late fee is on hold instead of "applies if overdue," so no one worries about a fee on a payment that's already on its way.
-
Improved
Clearer bank-payment emails for clients
When a client pays by bank transfer, their receipt now leads with a clear "payment is on the way" message and notes it typically clears in 3 to 5 business days, so it's never mistaken for fully settled.
-
Improved
Reminders pause during a pending bank payment
Automatic payment reminders now hold while a client's bank transfer is clearing, so clients don't get nudged for a payment they've already made.
-
Fixed
"View invoice" email links
Clicking "View invoice" in an email now takes you straight to that invoice after you sign in, instead of dropping you on the dashboard.
-
Improved
New project page clarity
Clearer gallery options (static to view, proofing to select, or a la carte to purchase), a heads-up that you'll add photos and files on the next step, and a sign-in button that shows its progress.

Where it started
This is where the updates begin. From day one, Edit already gave photographers one home for the business side: booking requests, agreements clients sign online, galleries to view, proof, or buy from, deliverables, and invoices clients pay by card or bank transfer through Stripe or Square. All of it lives in a client portal on your own domain. Everything above this line came after.
