New
Slideshow cover
Turn your gallery cover into a slideshow of 3 to 10 photos, each slowly zooming and fading into the next. In Gallery settings, open Cover photo, choose Slideshow under Motion, then pick your photos in the order you want them to play. Drag to reorder, and set how long each photo shows (3 to 7 seconds).
-
New
Slow zoom cover
Give your gallery cover a slow, subtle zoom when your client opens it. Turn it on in Gallery settings under Cover photo, Motion. It respects your framing, and is skipped for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
-
New
Full screen photo viewer
Clients can take the photo viewer full screen from the button next to Close, for a distraction-free look at every photo. Esc steps back out. On iPhone the viewer already fills the screen, so the button stays out of the way there.
-
Improved
Proofing selections that fit your package
On a proofing gallery with sections, choose how picks are counted in Gallery settings: One total (like 4 retouches from any look, in any mix) or Per section (like 2 from each look, with the total added up for you). Your client always sees a count they can actually reach.
-
Improved
Cover photo size, and a simpler gallery editor
A new Cover photo section sets how much of the screen your cover fills (Full screen, Tall, Medium, or Short) and holds its framing. Themes are gone from the editor: start from Smart start or one of Your designs, then adjust. In Settings, pick a default design that new projects start with.
-
Improved
Frame your cover in the gallery editor
Drag the cover photo right in the live preview to reposition it, and zoom from the Cover layout section. You see exactly how it sits in your chosen cover layout, and it saves when you click Apply. "Adjust framing" on the project page takes you straight there.
-
Improved
Overall progress for gallery uploads
Uploading a big set of photos now shows one progress bar for the whole batch, with the time left, and the photos still uploading stay at the top of the list.
-
New
Gallery sections
Group a gallery into sections, like looks in a headshot session, dishes in a food shoot, or products in a set. Clients see a heading for each and a row of section buttons to jump between them, and on proofing galleries you can set how many photos they pick from each section.
-
Fixed
Bank transfers say "pending" until they clear
When a client pays by bank transfer (ACH), your email and notification now say the payment is pending and typically clears in 3 to 5 business days, instead of "payment received." You still get a "cleared" email when it settles.
-
Improved
Easier-to-read main buttons
Main buttons (Pay, Sign, New project and the rest) keep Edit orange and now use dark text, so the label is easy to read for everyone, including in bright light. Galleries with their own accent color keep it, with whichever label color reads best.
-
Improved
Galleries and payments work better with a keyboard and screen reader
Clients can open and browse photos with the keyboard, pop-ups keep focus where it belongs and return it when closed, payment errors are read out, and focus outlines and lighter text have a little more contrast.
-
Improved
Stronger e-signatures on agreements
Signers now agree to sign electronically before signing (with a short disclosure), and can use their typed name instead of drawing. Every step is kept in a permanent signing record with a certificate on the signed copy, the signed text can't change, and everyone who signed gets their own copy when it's fully signed.
-
Fixed
Every date and time in your own time zone
Dates and times across Edit now follow your studio's time zone (from the state in Settings), for you and your clients: signed agreements, invoices, receipts, emails, reminders, and records. An invoice made in the evening is dated today, not tomorrow, and late fees and "due today" reminders follow your day, not the server's.
-
Improved
Updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
The Terms now cover getting paid by your clients (card surcharges, late fees, and sales tax), the certifications you make in Settings, and how we keep records of what was agreed. The Privacy Policy notes the few new things we record. You'll see a short prompt to accept the update, and every past version stays available word for word at the bottom of each page.
-
Improved
A cleaner Payments settings page
Surcharge, reminders, late fees, sales tax, and check payments each have a simple on/off switch now. Their settings and your state's rules only show when they're on, so the page reads at a glance.
-
Improved
Downgrading checks your storage first
If you switch to a plan with less storage than you're using, Edit now shows how much you use, suggests the extra storage blocks to cover it, and updates the price live as you add or remove blocks. Your files are never deleted. If you switch without enough storage, new uploads pause until you're under the limit.
-
Improved
Sales tax that fits your state
Settings > Payments now explains how your state treats photography (prints, session fees, and digital images can each be different), and sales tax stays off until you confirm you're registered to collect it in your state. Tax rates are capped at 15% to catch typos.
-
Improved
Late fees follow the rules, and clients see them up front
Late fees are now capped at 10% (new studios start at 5%) and follow your state's rules, like Wisconsin's $10 limit and Maryland's 15-day wait. Every invoice, its PDF, and the invoice email now state the late fee terms, and the default agreement templates call it a one-time late fee, never interest. Turning late fees on now asks you to confirm they're in the contract each client signs.
-
Improved
Card surcharges follow your state's rules
Your studio's city and state are now required, and the card surcharge is held to what your state allows: off in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico, up to 2% in Colorado, Maine, and New York, and up to 4% everywhere else. Debit and prepaid cards are never charged the fee, and the payment shows "Debit card, fee waived" with the card's last 4 (tap "fee waived" to see why). New studios start at 3%.
-
Improved
Security upgrades across Edit
A full security review and a round of hardening. Removing a teammate or archiving a client now signs them out right away, changing your password signs you out on your other devices, and sign-in and other public forms now limit repeated attempts. Agreement drafts stay private until you send them, and payment refunds and disputes are tracked more completely.
-
Fixed
Photo download button no longer opens the full-screen view
In a gallery with downloads on, tapping the download button on a photo now just downloads that photo, instead of also opening it full screen. In your Client view preview it shows the read-only note, like the other buttons.
-
New
Your booking link gets its own preview card
When you share your booking link in a text, email, or social post, the preview now shows a card with your logo, studio name, a Book a session button in your accent color, and the kinds of photography you do. It updates on its own when you change your branding. No setup needed.
-
Improved
Gallery stats update live
The Gallery stats card on a project now updates while your client browses: views, favorites, selects, and downloads change on their own, no refresh, and each one pops when it moves.
-
Improved
Booking requests, redesigned
Requests now read like an agenda: grouped by month, each with a date block, the full date, a preview of their note, and their photo at a glance. Open one to see everything and accept, change, or decline right there. Open requests start expanded.
-
Improved
Booking confirmations invite clients to their portal
When you accept a request from your booking link, the "Your session is booked" email now also sets up their client portal with their login, so they can see their session and, as you publish them, their agreements, invoices, and photos. No separate invite email.
-
Improved
Search and pages for booking requests
Booking requests now have a search box and show 10 at a time, and bookings turn up in the search bar at the top. A new request keeps its red dot until you accept, modify, or decline it.
-
New
Require a photo on booking requests
Ask clients to upload a photo for any session type on your public booking link, like a recent selfie for headshots, so you get a sense of them before the shoot. Set it in Settings > Availability.
-
New
Booking deposits
Require a deposit for any session type on your public booking link, like $100 for Headshots. Clients pay it right after requesting, and the request reaches you once it is paid. Declining refunds it automatically, and it is credited on the session invoice. Set it in Settings > Availability.
