Where ShootProof is great
ShootProof has been around since 2010 and does a lot for the money. Credit where it’s due.
- No commission, ever. Like Edit, ShootProof doesn’t take a cut of your sales on any plan, even Free.
- Prints and products. Partner labs like WHCC and Mpix, or self-fulfillment, with packages and discounts. Edit sells digital downloads only.
- Extras in the box. A simple portfolio website, email marketing, and video in galleries.
- A low starting price. If you mostly need galleries, its entry plans cost less than Edit.
Where Edit is different
ShootProof covers galleries and sales well. Edit is for photographers who want the whole job in one place, especially with business clients.
