VSCO Workspace details are from vsco.co and the Workspace help center, checked October 2026. Plans change, so check their site for the latest.
Workspace grew out of Táve, a studio manager power users have loved for years.
VSCO One is good value if you’d use the whole bundle. Edit is for photographers who want proofing built in and would rather pay by the month.
Switching
Moving years of work is awful, so don’t. Leave your Workspace jobs where they are and run your next shoot through Edit.
Make your studio in a few minutes. No credit card.
Add the client, send the contract, deliver the gallery, and send the invoice, all from one project.
If it feels better, book the next one in Edit too. Nothing you already have stops working.
“Proofing is where my clients spend the most time, so it couldn’t be a separate app. In Edit, the picks, the contract, and the invoice all live on the same project.”
Yes. VSCO says Táve’s Studio Manager became VSCO Workspace, launched under the new name in August 2025.
Not as a new customer. Since June 23, 2026, the full Workspace comes only with VSCO One, $499.99 a year, billed yearly. Existing subscribers can keep their plan, and there’s a free, limited version of Workspace.
VSCO’s own galleries are built for delivery, with guest uploads but no client picks. For proofing, Workspace links to ShootProof or Pic-Time. Edit has proofing built in on every plan.
If you want proofing built in and would rather pay monthly, yes. If you want very configurable automations, text messaging, several brands, or VSCO’s presets and portfolio site, VSCO One goes further.
No. There’s nothing to migrate. Leave past jobs where they are and run your next shoot through Edit.
Nothing to migrate. Run one real job through it, start to paid, and see how it feels.
