Payment plans
Split any invoice into a deposit and the rest, or up to 12 payments with their own due dates. Each payment gets its own reminders, and the invoice only reads Paid once every payment is in.

How it works
Add a payment and Edit splits the total evenly, or tap 50 / 50, 25% deposit, or 3 payments.
When it’s sent, a few weeks after, the shoot day, or any date. The invoice due date follows the last one.
Your client sees every payment and pays the first. They can pay ahead anytime.
Each payment gets its own reminders, and a late fee only lands on a payment that’s actually late.
The details
A deposit and the balance, monthly payments, or anything in between, all on one invoice.
Type 30% and it becomes dollars. Set one payment and the rest rebalance to match the total.
Make the final payment due the day of the shoot, straight from the project.
A due-soon nudge, a due-today reminder, and weekly past-due reminders, one payment at a time.
An optional late fee lands on the late payment alone, never on payments that aren’t due yet.
Add a line like “Nonrefundable. Due to hold your date.” Your client sees it on the invoice, the email, and the PDF.
Every invoice lists the automatic emails still scheduled for your client, with a preview of each one.
A refunded payment is never asked for again. You choose whether the rest of the plan continues or the invoice closes.
Once money is in on a payment, it can’t be changed, so the schedule always matches what was paid.
Yes. In Edit, any invoice can be split into a deposit and the rest, or up to 12 payments, each with its own amount and due date. It stays one invoice, on the same project as the gallery and contract.
No. Your client pays each payment themselves, in a tap with Apple Pay, Google Pay, a saved card, or a bank transfer. Edit never stores their card or charges it on its own, and reminders go out before each payment is due.
Yes. Every invoice on a payment plan has a link to pay the full balance whenever your client likes, and any extra goes toward the next payments.
Only that payment is past due. It gets weekly reminders, and your optional late fee is added to that payment alone, following your state’s rules. The invoice never reads Paid until every payment is in.
The refunded money is never asked for again. If the invoice still has payments to come, you choose whether they continue or the invoice is closed.
No. Edit takes 0% on every plan, and every payment goes to your own Stripe or Square account.
Nothing to migrate. Run one real job through it, start to paid, and see how it feels.
