How it works

From template to signed, in minutes.

  1. 1

    Pick a template

Start from a contract written for your kind of shoot, then tailor the wording to your business.

  2. 2

    It fills itself in

The client, the shoot date, and the project details drop in from the project.

  3. 3

    Send it

Everyone who needs to sign gets it. On Solo it’s a link, no login needed.

  4. 4

    Signed and stored

You counter-sign, everyone gets a copy, and the signed version is locked for good.

Ready-made templates

Contracts for the shoots you actually do.

Twelve templates to start from, or a blank page. Edit any of them to match how you work.

Simple Photography Agreement Standard Photography Agreement Portrait Session Agreement Wedding Photography Agreement Event Photography Agreement Product & Commercial Photography Agreement Commercial Master Agreement Image Usage License Model Release Image Release Print Release AI Use Restrictions

The details

Signed, sealed, on the project.

Multiple signers

Route one agreement to everyone who has to sign, like a couple or a client and their AP contact, and see who’s done.

Type or draw

Signers can type their name or draw it, on any phone or computer. No printing, no scanning, no third-party app.

A real signing record

Signers agree to sign electronically first, every step is recorded, and the signed copy carries a certificate.

Locked once signed

The signed text can’t change, so there’s never a question about what everyone agreed to.

Reminders

Nudge anyone who hasn’t signed yet, without writing the awkward email yourself.

Usage rights in writing

A dedicated Image Usage License spells out where and how long the photos can be used.

Contract questions

Does Edit have photography contract templates?

Yes. Twelve, including portrait, wedding, event, product and commercial, an image usage license, and model, image, and print releases. You can edit every one, or start blank. In Edit they live under Agreements.

Are e-signatures in Edit legally binding?

Edit follows the standard e-signature practice: signers agree to sign electronically before they sign, every step is kept in a permanent signing record, and the signed text can’t change. As with any contract, have a lawyer review your wording for your state.

Can more than one person sign the same contract?

Yes. Add every signer, like both people in a couple or a client and their accounts payable contact, track who has signed, and counter-sign it yourself.

Do my clients need an account to sign?

No. They can sign from a link on any phone or computer. On the Studio and Agency plans, agreements also show up in their client portal.

Are contracts on every plan?

Yes. Agreements and e-signatures are on Solo, Studio, and Agency.
